Here I am!

I am excited to be writing my first post EVER!  For some reason I'm nervous and keep deleting everything I write, which is weird since I have been writing blog posts in my head for months before taking the plunge to actually have my own blog.  And those posts were very witty.  And those posts were pithy.  And those posts were inspiring.  I'm afraid I will adopt the habit I have of letting my husband know when things are funny (just so that he'll know, because he doesn't always recognize my comic genius). 

Anyhoo, these are the kids.  Jack is 14 months and REALLY needs a haircut.  Ella will be four in 3 weeks, is wearing shorts over her PJs and thinks the bunny she's on is a sled.  I love those weirdos.  I am looking forward to writing about them, in addition to showing my design endeavors, for which I have great enthusiasm and no real skill.

I hope to fill all my ones of readers with joy and encouragement, even if it's only you, Mom.
