Another one bites the dust

Last week, Handsome Hero replaced the faucet in our powder room.  As I've shown you before, the faucets in our house all match, are all horrible, and all leak.  Eventually, they will all meet a very timely end.

We had already replaced the kitchen faucet.  It went from this:

All of the faucets are just as, um, beautiful as this one.  Everybody sing with me - Silver and Gold!  Silver and Gold...

To this:

We are so happy with it, and hey, we don't mind the granite either!

The faucet in the powder room was actually in the best shape of all of the bathroom faucets {meaning it was the only one that didn't leak}, so why did we replace it?  Well, it was still ugly and we already had the replacement faucet {I think we actually brought it with us from Washington}, so it was a "free" upgrade.  Each of the other bathrooms has two sinks, so this was the faucet to get upgraded first.  Or second, if you count the kitchen.

So, in the spirit of organizing and purging, this faucet needed to get installed.   And look at her. Isn't she beautiful?

You are probably surprised we went with chrome after seeing the oil rubbed bronze look in the kitchen, but I love it!  It has an old farmhouse feel while being very sleek.

I think it's beautiful with the pedestal sink.  Perfect for a powder room.
