Sibling Rivalry????

When we were little, my nickname was Princess.  My sister's nickname was Pumpkin-Doodle-Squat-Head.

Who do you think was the favorite?

That's right. I was royalty; she was a vegetable.

Okay, so maybe our parents didn't do favorites, but I'm always working on it.  I mean, I gave them an awesome son-in-law and three fantastic grandchildren!

Rebecca was just seething with jealousy!

seething

She already had an awesome husband, but she needed to take it up a notch.

Soon after I got bun number three cooking, she got her added her own bun to the oven.

very little bun

But she knew it could take years for her to catch up, so what did she do?  WHAT DID SHE DO????

I'll tell you what she did.  She broke her foot to ensure the sympathy vote.  That's what she did.  At thirty-five weeks, no less!

Gotcha

It was so not fair.  I wracked my brain to think of what I could do.  I had to stay in the lead!  Finally, I landed upon a brilliant plan.

 I win!  I win!

I decided to break my ankle.  Game on, sister.

This picture shows what a toughie I am

I'm cute,

And I think I may have just won.

Woo to the hoo.  Oh, yeah.

  1. Niiiiice! I wonder what your sis is gonna do after hearing you call her a vegetable?

Hmmmm....Better be carful, secret twins with full heads of curly hair that can already speak three languages? Just saying, your asking for something...

  2. This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. But let me clear something up, Beth, in case you're keeping score: if Rebecca gives birth to triplets, you're even.

    Dad

P.S. I love you both, the same, equally, evenly, identically. (Mom may feel differently, though...)

  3. I love your sibling rivalry, but did you really think breaking your ankle was the only way to outdo Rebecca? I love all the photos you posted on this entry. I've been trying to convince R to start a blog about her life in the big apple with a baby, but she says she is too busy. I just think it's a really neat thing to have so that when her baby gets older, he can read about things his momma was thinking about when he was little. Even if she has no followers, it's a good place to group your thoughts/pictures! I thought about writing a blog, but I can't think of anything to write about. Any ideas? Can't wait to see everyone at Christmas! Remember - I'm going to be the Phillips' family photographer! I may even make you all dress in white shirts & jeans...
