Recently, Ella asked Jesus into her heart. We are so excited about this, yet we recognize that at four years old, there is much she doesn't understand. Still, it is very exciting to watch her grow in her knowledge of the Lord.
Today, she told me, "God said that our sins were too stinky for us to be with Him in Heaven."
"What can we do about that?" I asked.
"We can ask Jesus to come and clean our hearts so that they aren't stinky and smelly."
I don't know where she got the stinky adjective, but I think she's right on.
That is so darling! What a smart kiddo!
